PRESENTATION SCORES NEEDS ASSESSMENT
The first Intellectual Output “Study on Developing Skills and Competences in and through Sport resulting in improved employability opportunities for athletes” will be presented. The research results are meant to serve as input for the training program for coaches/trainers including a skills matrix and a pilot program on the detailed implementation of such training program in dual careers.

In the form of a panel discussion with four international dual career stakeholders, the research findings, in particular dual career skill management, will be debated. The goal is to verify the preliminary version of the program and gather feedback from the present stakeholders.
Panel experts:
Dr Tom Campbell,
Lecturer in Sport, Exercise and Health.
Programme Leader: BA Business and Enterprise in Sport, Edinburgh Napier University
Charles Urbanus,
Msc General Manager CTO Amsterdam. Former baseball athlete and coach
Laurent Carnol,
former Elite athlete & dual career expert, Luxembourg Institute for High Performance in Sports (LIHPS)

TABLE DISCUSSION PROGRAM AND APPROVED CERTIFICATE
The audience is invited to discuss the first feedback and reflect on what is
missing/what else is needed in order to provide a valid training program that will
finally enhance trainers/coaches’ ability to support athletes through sports in
their professional career development. This includes feedback from the
employment sector about the impact/influence that an official skill certification
would have and what kind of form this should have.
