Several training sessions developed in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Spain), Modena (Italy), Tampere (Finland) and Sofia (Bulgaria) and assisted by coaches from over 20 different types of sports, were the start for the Train -the-Trainer program, designed by AUAS.
A training manual for coaches will be developed, so that they can support athletes to further develop skills and competencies acquired by practicing their sport. These skills and competences are equally valid for their integration into the labor market and serve as a great plus for their employability. Finally, an official certificate will be granted as well.
Thanks to this project, tools that until now, were strictly available for elite athletes, will become available for non-professional athletes to manage their dual careers.
